So many things to say about their Conference because apparently, Ubisoft is looking to host a late show. Oh wait no...
Just Dance 2019
If you are into these type of games, which I, as a grown, man am not... though I hear they can be fun...from a friend.
Beyond Good and Evil 2
I never played the first one but damn did that video have me engrossed and wanting to know more about it. The CGI was fantastic. Calling it a space opera has me intrigued. The gameplay clips look good but I want to see more.
The whole "hit record" thing might be cool and I'll have to check it out. Yes, they did nail it. (So many open mics during this conference)
Rainbow 6 Siege
This game came from the dead and is the dream of every studio when a game does not kill it on release. Every day I get closer to wanting to play it or at least try it out. Whether I do or not I know it has a pretty passionate following and an ever-growing player base.
Trials Rising
Dirt bikes aren't my thing but I did like how ridiculous the guy who presented it was. His whole persona and "fall" at the beginning had me more interested in who he was then the game.
The Division 2
I really enjoyed The Division even when it was "broken". They hyped it a little too much in the beginning but they delivered a pretty good game. Whats more is the game has improved, which leads me to believe the second iteration might have a good start.
This second iteration looks like its going to be a lot grittier as the world plunges darker into the chaos brought on by the virus. They are creating classes or "specializations" for late game raids, which is the late game the first one really should have started with. The episode DLC model made me nervous till they said free but that is a price I am willing to pay. This is going to be a game I get next year.
Mario Rabbids
This game was a surprise hit for many. It was a pretty great game and anything to get me back into it, including DK is something I am about. I will be playing this DLC when it comes out June 26th.
Skull & Bones
This looks like a badass pirate game. I love pirate games. I want to play this pirate game. It gave off a very arcadey, Sid Meyers pirates, type of experience and I am all about this. There are so many games that have tried this but have faded into oblivion. I am thinking Ubisoft could nail it.
Transference
This game looks good too. What the fuck UBISOFT?! Some of us have to work. A mind-bending game like this is right up my alley...although we don't know what this is yet.
Starlink
Finally a title I don't see myself getting. A younger me would love this but I really don't need more junk in my room. You can't even pull me in with Star Fox but it was a good try.
For Honor
This game had a lot of hype and it seemed like it died off a little. Now its free, so I think I'll give it a try. I saw the game a has a learning curve as it's basically an objective based fighting game but it's worth a try.
The Crew 2
The beta did not launch on my PC just like the first one. I got The Crew to work once but the DLC being thrown in my face turned me off. There are plenty of other racing games out there.
Assassins Creed Odyssey
The annual Assasin's Creed game. I haven't played since a bug wiped out 20 hours of gameplay in AC3. It will be a long time before I get to this game...I have like 4 AC titles in between. This title just looks like another hash of the same AC type game we have seen again and again. They are okey titles but I am not running to the store to get this.
Ubisoft has been dropping aces recently and it doesn't look like they are slowing down. They have a bunch of great titles coming up and it looks like they are going to keep their "redemption" years momentum rolling. We can just ignore some of their other titles and they will still have a lot going for them. They really need to start making movies too, their CGI is amazing, and apperently know a lot of actors.
