While I don't personally get to go, you can bet I will be glued to a screen all week, or at least have one open beside me for the biggest sales pitch of the year. E3, once and allusive conference for those in the industry, now with open doors that many in the industry wish to avoid, is now one of the main times we get to hear what we will be playing in the next few years. This year is no different and here are a few things I am hoping to see.
Cyberpunk 2077
This is a game that has been in production for some time and while my prediction of the game may be coming out this year could be off, some more information on Cyberpunk 2077 would be nice. CD Projekt Red just impressed the hell out of me with The Witcher series and I cannot wait to see what the studio can produce outside of their much-loved franchise. We know something about co-op play, online play, but footage and a date would be nice.
Fallout 76
I have yet to play a Fallout game and at the same time have them all in my Steam library. I am curious as to what the next title that will wait on pc is going to be about. Bethesda makes great games and I can't wait to get around to this franchise and Fallout 76 looks intriguing.
Black Ops 4
While we have been teased and shown some content of what we can be expecting, I hope to be filled in by Treyarch as to what to expect in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Its been a while since I have bought a CoD but this might be the one to bring me back. As long as they avoid the loot boxes.
Super Smash Bros.
We know so little but I want to know so much more about Super Smash Bros. I am pretty sure this is a new iteration and hopefully, we can be filled in because yes I pre-ordered it and no I don't feel bad about it. It would just be nice to reinforce my buying habits.
Pokemon Lets Go
It looks cool but I want to know a little more about Pokemon Lets Go. While we know it is not a "core" title it strikes me as something that is right up my ally especially since I still play Pokemon Go. I am getting Eevee.
Valve Knuckles
Like always I am waiting on Valve to release something and only God knows if the Valve Knuckles will be released. They have promised something around three(!?) full VR games that we know very little about but most important to me is the damn VR controllers they have been working on. Right now I am sitting wandless missing out on a lot of VR games because these bad boys just looked awesome. They were something worth waiting for and this year I would like to know how long I am going to wait.
Death Stranding
You know what? I don't want to know more about this game. I just want another trippy ass video that leaves us wondering if this game actually exists or is just a bunch of video clips.
Here we are on the doorstep of another year of hype and disappointment. My blog during E3 will most likely explode with different conferences and it's going to be a lot of fun. Let's just hope for some good info and maybe a great end of 2018 in gaming.
